It's the first time I started considering experimenting with organic materials. The whole collection, RAW, composed of four installations, is based on dyed and natural sheepskin cuttings, wires, and canvas. It symbolises the nature that is constantly tamed by humankind, constrained, dyed to its own liking, abused, transformed. We’ve been distancing ourselves so much from nature and the rawness of it, I guess it comes naturally with civilisation and industry advancement. My four works raise awareness around the disconnect we currently have with Mother Nature, with its simplicity, perfection, and everything that used to define us as species.
